Melissa, aka Coach Mel, is all about helping women and girls feel strong, confident, and empowered. As a mom of two girls and with 15 years in law enforcement, she brings a powerful blend of real-world experience, athletic discipline and tons of heart to the LIFT community.  

With a background in mixed martial arts — including Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and kickboxing — Melissa is passionate about teaching self-defense and strength training in a way that’s approachable and effective.  Her goal is simple: to create a space where women support each other, grow stronger, and feel ready for anything life throws their way.

Kelly, aka Coach Kel, brings a blend of professional expertise and a deep commitment to empowering women and girls through fitness.  She strives to create a positive, encouraging, and FUN environment where women have a true sense of belonging. 

Kelly is a dedicated wife and busy momma of 3 but always makes fitness a priority in her life.  She believes that life is a beautiful journey but it's not easy.  Fitness gives her the mental, emotional, and physical strength to persevere when faced with challenges.  She is an avid runner with the ambitious goal to run a race in all 50 states.  She believes that we all have limitless potential inside of us, and the key to becoming the best version of ourselves is to Lift Each Other Up.
